London City Airport is the only airport in Central London & is located close to both the City & Canary Wharf business district as well as the developing Olympic Village being built for the games of 2012. Opened in 1987 the Airport focuses on the business traveller & is still undergoing heavy investment on improving facilities & currently serves a number of airlines flying to upto 30 destinations across the UK & Europe. From
the West Follow A13 east & just past Blackwall Tunnel take A1020 towards the river. Follow signs to airport on right. |
From
the North Follow A406 North Circular Road south & just before you reach Woolwich Ferry, turn right into A1011. Follow signs to airport on right. |

the East
Follow A13 towards London & at A406 North Circular Road, turn left & head south. Just before you reach Woolwich Ferry, turn right into A1011. Follow signs to airport on right. From
the South
Exit M25 J30 & follow A13 west. Then as above. |

The Airport is served by the Docklands Light Railway which is linked to the main London Underground |

London Transport operates two bus services to the Airport. The 473 serves Stratford, Silvertown , North Woolwich & Prince Regent Station with the stop just outside the terminal building.
