Cornwall International Airport is a small regional airport situated
5 miles north of Cornwall's Premier Holiday resort of Newquay and is the only commercial airport serving the county. Owned by Cornwall County Council the Airport offers excellent modern facilities following a £6 million redevelopment, as well as one of the longest runways in the UK from it's days as RAF St Mawgan. The Airport serves 7 operators flying to 15 UK airports as well as 2 in Eire & 7 European destinations. Newquay is Cornwall's largest holiday resort and is also regarded as the surf capital of the UK. It offers an excellent night life as well as superb beaches typical of this lovely area. Cornwall also offers first class attractions including the Eden Project, Flambards Theme Park & the National Maritime Museum as well as many industrial heritage sites. |

There is a dedicated bus stop to the west of the Terminal building where services are provided by the Western Greyhound Service 556 ( Newquay to Padstow ).
