Aberdeen Harbour is one of Britain's busiest ports, & is now the
principal commercial port for Northern Scotland. Handling
over 9,000 visiting ships & approximately 4 million tonnes of
cargo a year valued at approx. £1.5 billion, the Port is also Scotland's main East Coast ferry
port & port-of-call for cruise ships. Aberdeen is Scotland's third city by population size and the Granite City as it is known has some wonderful Victorian granite architecture as well as outstanding parks & gardens. |

Follow the A90 to Aberdeen from either Forfar or Peterhead, or from the A96 from Inverness. Then follow the signs to Aberdeen Ferry Port, which is on the north bank of the River Dee. |

Aberdeen Railway Station is located 500 metres west of the harbour in Guild Street and is a 5 minute walk to the Ferry Terminal. Taxis are available at most times on the station rank.
